Air Consumption
The table below shows the required amount of air, in cubic feet per minute (CFM) for the Bulroc range of Hyper hammers to maintain the specific operating pressures, in pounds per square inches (PSI). These figures assume that where applicable a solid choke is installed in the hammer.

When extra flushing air is required the choke can be drilled to create a flow of live air through the hammer. The size of the flushing hole will determine how much extra air is required by the hammer to maintain the specific operating pressures. The table below shows the amount of air that will pass through different sizes of flushing holes. These figures must be added to the figure in the above table to give a total required CFM.
